Please allow me a moment to introduce myself. My name is Mark Reiff and I have been in and around the construction industry for over twenty five years. With a degree in Construction Management and my years of experience, I possess a tremendous amount of knowledge and construction know how. As a sales representative, this gives my customers the advantage of being able to call on me for almost all of their building material needs.

With six locations serving the Tri-State Area, we have a tremendous inventory of lumber, drywall, acoustics, masonry material, plumbing & electrical and all types of doors and hardware as well as tools. Our full service paint & sundry department carries a complete line of architectural & industrial coatings. We even employ a full time locksmith to serve our customer's needs!

In keeping with the forefront of GREEN Construction Technology, Metropolitan Lumber & Hardware is proud to be an FSC Certified Chain of custody lumber supplier. We also carry a full line of recycled/recyclable content products which will help you attain Leed Points towards certification and Tax Credits.

Metropolitan Lumber & Hardware is a New York State company (employing over 250 local NYC residents), and presently supplies material to many city & state agencies, schools, hospitals and institutions directly as well as through contractors and subcontractors. Metropolitan Lumber & Hardware also serves many of the Tri-State Area’s largest builders & contractors.

We normally supply next day delivery with our large fleet of trucks, which include boom & spider trucks. In addition we can arrange labor on large deliveries and projects.

As with most aspects of a project I am aware that price and service are the biggest concerns when purchasing building material.
